this age of "outrage" we have to go full hyperbolic tween girl when describing anything. Did they ever even get close to getting a hold of Pence or Pelosi? Weren't we told one of the failures and reasons they were able to get into the Capitol is because the Capitol Police was busy doing their primary job of making sure the people there were safe? Wasn't AOC telling her "survivor" story from the safety of an entirely different building?

Again, no one is defending what those a-holes did or suggesting they shouldn't be punished to the fullest extent of the law. But we don't have to lie about and hyperbolize everything just because we think it will help our preferred political party. And we shouldn't be afraid to call people out when they do.
