Because they were. You might not like the rule of putting recovering patien
patients back in nursing homes that could handle them, and you may not like the way he classified deaths of former nursing home patients who died in hospitals.
And I certainly won’t like it if the allegations that he pressured other state officials to be quiet, and especially the allegations of sexual harassment, turn out to be true.
But none of that changes how he took charge when the pandemic slammed headfirst into New York, and how he communicated to his constituents during those rough days. Stark contrast to the guy in the oval office.
