The culprits and their like minded followers will not want a commission.


After all, what criminals would welcome the airing of the truth about their complicity in their crime? They'd prefer that their day in court not come at all.

This commission, if it should come about and it damn well should, would be just another mirror held up to reflect the extent to which they've gone to deny the truth in what is but one more attempt to obscure/mock/downplay the defense of democratic ideals.

This of course would be the 4th time something like this has been necessary in the last 4 years. First there was the Mueller Investigation. Then Impeachment #1. Then Impeachment #2. Now the 1/06/21 Insurrection Commission.

Quite a rap sheet isn't it? Imagine the drug murderer/gangster who is finally called to account for the items on his rap sheet, and he denies each and every one of them, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. That's where we are, except we are not talking about a drug dealing enterprise, but a president and a significant part of his anti-democratic party.

Being drug kicking and screaming to the accounting doesn't even begin to describe their reaction to this bit of sunshine.

Let the sunshine in. Oh let it shine.
