I live in eastern Loudoun

There is definitely a concerted effort by a small number on both sides to stir the pot. I think some of it is for personal gain, people looking to create a name/following to run for office, etc. And a somewhat larger number acting like children on both sides.

The county has changed so much in the last 20, 10, hell even 5 years, and to some extent is still run and managed like a mostly rural exurb in the 1980s. So yes definitely growing pains.

I think you mix that with well-off, entitled people with too much time on their hands and some wanna-be, sort-of-connected politicos, and an incendiary issue that is complex with no really good answers and you get this mess.
