Your turnip remark is bullshit, and on some level, you probably know it (although IMO I have seen few people able to self-delude on your level to keep towing the political party line). Biden is extremely flawed, but neither he nor Trump are as dumb as their political gotcha moments are meant to make them seem. Trump didn’t think Frederick Douglass was still alive, or that the Continental Army did a great job capturing airports in the Revolutionary War, because he’s too dumb to understand the absurdity of those statements. Profoundly uninterested is more like it. And Biden doesn’t misspeak or stammer to create his political gotchas because he’s suddenly lost all mental faculties after a 4 or 5 decade, very accomplished, political career. He’s always been a poor speaker (which makes his political success even more impressive), and I agree that his public speaking is worse now than when he was younger. He looks diminished.

But even one as self delusional as you appear to be knows, on some level, that for every Biden gaffe you can make into a political gotcha about his turnipness, there is at least one from Trump. We can post his stream of consciousness pep rally nonsense all day long, and I agree, you will find quite of few of Biden’s. The whaddabouts would offset one another. Of course partisans always see it as being worse in the other guy.

So, the turnipness is a wash, and in reality, exists in neither of them. The complete and total absence of decency - well, that is clearly evident in only one. And it ain’t Biden.
