From a historical perspective a little bit of inflation has been good for the US middle class because at home value appreciation and wage increases that generally at least kept up, except in extreme times. It’s hitting especially hard now because of the wage and income gap widening. Far too many people I’m not getting the asset appreciation benefit and are stuck in relatively fixed low income status. As the article points out there are pieces in this bill which are intended to increase productivity and employment
