And no one is saying that the pasts of the three guys he shot justify their shooting. Their pasts might justify many people feeling no sympathy for them, but that’s the extent of it. The shootings were justified by the assailants’ attacks on Rittenhouse, period, which is not only obvious from the video evidence, but also what the jury found.
