It seems like we are recruiting DBs on measurables—40 time, vertical leap,


shuttle time, etc, and not on football IQ and basic football skills. I don’t care how fast your 40 is, or how high you can jump, if you can’t read and get where you need to be, can’t be taught to turn and look for the ball, and can’t tackle when a catch is made in front of you.
