the police was only part of the collection of stupidity for why we're seeing that, and as the mayor's telling you, it's not just impacting the actual forces out there, but also their morale, how they police, the ability to recruit, etc.

But you're right, there certainly can be ways to improve policing, but we should be listening to actual police officers on how to do that, not morons at BLM, politicians that only want to be seen as properly Woke, community activists, etc. And I can assure you, you wouldn't find many that would tell you to do things as dumb as sending social workers to domestic dispute calls (they could supplement or be nearby on standby, but most cops will tell you those are some of their most dangerous and volatile calls), or use non-cops for traffic stops.
