The government, in the form of public schools, already mandates vaccines.


The government mandates that you pay taxes. It mandates that you drive no faster than the posted speed limit. It mandates that you not drive drunk. In many states it mandates that you get your vehicle inspected to reduce the possibility it will be hazardous to you and others. It mandates that you serve on a jury when summoned. It mandates that children attend school until they reach a certain age. It mandates that industry keep harmful pollutants to certain levels. In times of war it may mandate military service.

Governments are in the business of mandating actions and limitations that serve the public interest. COVID vaccines serve the public interest. Opposition to government COVID vaccine mandates is mindless, anti-patriotic selfishness.
