This whole thing is nuts. My kids swim.

My 12 yo girl is remotely close to the boys at her age. She will have absolutely no chance against the boys as puberty kicks in over the next few years. As even my high school boy (also a swimmer) said this week re. this story, “I’m for all trans rights except for sports. There’s no way it’s fair to the girls.”

This has to be causing a lot of consternation in the Title IX world. Those advocates have done a valiant job in promoting and securing college sports for female college athletes. Now the female athletes in sports like swimming aren’t going to have a chance in those sports against those who were formerly males.
