Seattle in small camps. My stepson had a cabin up there and one would see methheads on the gravel roads from time to time. I can't overstate this: There was nobody home there. Just vacant eyes sunk into dirty faces. Young folks who gravitated to places like Seattle and Portland thinking these liberal places would be some sort of Nirvana.

We were at the stepson's place once before he moved. I'll never stop being haunted by those poor lost souls. I saw several who were at a place from which it would be impossible of recovery to my lay eyes. I think they were called twerkers, for what it's worth.
