I'd say just regulate the circumstances of the ID. Also, it would not be


necessary in WA, HI, OR, CO or UT where there is universal vote by mail anyway. If the purpose is just to show citizenship, there are already other documents that prove that. So, I don't see the point? Is it standardization? Is it security? What it is not is proof of residency in a particular state and there are other documents for that, too.
