Do you think it's accurate that over 1 in 5 Republicans "would favor

a government policy requiring that citizens remain confined to their homes at all times, except for emergencies, if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine?"

And that 29% of independent voters would favor that?

Because if 79% of Republicans oppose it, 21% favor it, according to the poll. Same with 71% oppose/29% favor among independents.

I don't buy that for a second - just as I don't buy that 59% of Democrats actually favor that (this Democrat certainly doesn't).

Here's the wording of the question: "Would you strongly favor, somewhat favor, somewhat oppose or strongly oppose a proposal to limit the spread of the coronavirus by having federal or state governments require that citizens remain confined to their homes at all times, except for emergencies, if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine?" Maybe a lot of the people they polled only "heard"/focused on the first half (policy to limit the spread of the virus) when they answered the question?

Anyway, maybe it is accurate, but I am definitely skeptical just based on common sense.
