How many have died as a result of repeat infections?

TBH, I don’t know, but anecdotally, the really bad outcomes I know of happened on first infections. I know several who’ve had repeat infections, which were milder cases.

So I think that principle is probably the way out. Covid won’t disappear anymore than any other coronavirus, such as the common cold. But it will probably recede into the background, becoming one of the many viruses we contend with.

Just like Spanish Flu became any other seasonal flu. The thing that fades is the deadliness, not repeat infections.
