Laz, no book was banned. A book was removed from...

...a kids' reading list due to language and graphics that folks in the community decided were inappropriate for 8th graders. No one is torching books out yonder in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot. And they are replacing this book with a different book about the Holocaust, so that angle of the story is also fake.

I do appreciate you posting this story, though, because it is a perfect example of the hivemind fake news dynamic that we righties draw attention to here all the time. A simple check of the source material would have let you know what was actually going on, but instead you uncritically relied on your totally credible MSM sources and got fishhooked.

By the way, you do know that lefties have "banned", in your terminology, numerous literary classics, such as To Kill a Mockingbird, Huck Finn, etc.,right?
