Lax laws and lax enforcement come from the prior illegal gun possession

charge for which he was able to simply walk out on, and the fact that, yes, while probably "straight off the statutory bail schedule", there is certainly a valid question as to whether being able to walk out with a $15K advance on his record deal qualifies that statutory bail schedule as lax or not.

I don't know enough about this specific case to know what a just sentence (or bail) would be. Those that do, seem to have a serious issue with how it's been handled. But I do know that if you're serious about addressing the gun problems, you'll need to be serious about writing and enforcing the laws to combat it. Nor complain about the results that leads to for our "prison industrial complex". Neither of these two seem serious about that.
