a better landscape to ensure domestic issues like the one(s) we have seen recently don't become crippling. But it would at least be marginally helpful. And yes, there has to be a better system in place that doesn't create unnecessary barriers when there are no legit safety claims but mostly about exact FDA labeling. We have both tariff and non-tariff barriers in place and the primary reasons is effective industry lobbying over the years for dubious reasons -- pre-dating NAFTA, but specifically built up further in USMCA.
