slain, beaten, assaulted, etc., daily, in many of these inner city communities (including children and the elderly)...and there is not much (if any) outrage from those within the community where it happens. As more and more of these urban communities continue to suffer from crime, decay, neglect and terrorism, the rippling effect it could have on the city's economy, health, environment, schools, and social structure could be devastating.
