So its highly predictable and certainly comes as no surprise to the rwnjs who drafted all these stupid laws, given that most of them are lawyers. The more vaguely worded the law, the more attorneys for schools will advise their clients to stay away from subjects entirely.

So, it is not valid to assume that “Don’t Say Gay” will only keep sordid discussions of sex out of the classroom. It will keep any message related to “gay” out of the classroom, including simple, non-offensive messages about tolerance, which should be uncontroversial (like a pic of spouse on a desk). Also predictable as the rising sun that anti-CRT laws will in fact prevent honest classroom discussions about racial issues throughout our history. Laws are vague, and lawyers will tell schools “no discussions about race to make sure you don’t run afoul.”
