In April it was fine for them to talk about their same sex partner. And it was ok to talk about families that have two mommies or two daddies. Now it's not? I don't think anybody is proposing detailed discussions of their sex lives, gay or straight. But the guidance from the OCPS lawyers is that it's not ok for a gay teacher to have a picture of their partner/spouse on their desk. That's exactly the kind of thing I was predicting would happen back in April and that you falsely predicted would be allowed. It's not any more political or sexual than a woman putting up a picture of her husband and kids.

You're welcome to share examples of teachers who have been victimized for speaking out in support of Trump, but if they're doing it in the classroom it's not even close to an apples to apples comparison.
