A quick google search turns up that in the majority of the
13 states with trigger laws, the laws were enacted in the last 5 years. This is not a case of states having old laws on the books that now need to be updated (although there are some of those too). The trigger laws specifically look like they were planned in anticipation of Roe being overturned.
I don't think there are going to be many exceptions made, although hopefully the backlash will provide some moderation in position in these states over time.
