It should go without saying but I know it doesn't: it doesn't matter if you like Matt Gaetz or not to see the dangers of having prosecutors leak serious accusations to the media without charging the person, and it doesn't make you a pedophile or pedophilia-sympathizer to object.

This was a favorite tactic of corrupt Brazilian prosecutors: they'd leak investigations and accusations to corporate media outlets, which would trumpet them, but never charge the person, thus destroying their enemies' reputations with no need to ever prove the case in court.

It's always projection from the actual Fascists.
