Trump did attempt to weaponize the DOJ and the FBI.

1. The FBI did investigate Hillary. In fact, Comey's public statements right before the election about the second investigation benefitted Trump.
2. Trump to weaponize the FBI by attempting to get Comey to drop investigations into Flynn.
3. Trump tried to weaponize the DOJ by trying to install Jeffrey Clark into a high ranking position at DOJ, because he was willing to sign a letter on behalf of DOJ stating that they found election fraud when there was no evidence. Trump only refused to go through with it when all the high ranking DOJ attorneys threatened to quit.
