The Jan 6 committee has to wrap things up in time for the House to flip and turn its attention to the terrible existential threat known as Hunter Biden, but the DOJ and various states like GA conducting their investigations are under no such deadline pressure.

919 alleged Jan 6 insurrection participants have already been arrested according to this link. Some of the militia leaders are facing very serious charges for involvement in planning. So your statement is not really true.

And the investigations continue. Nobody knows how far up indictments may go, at state or federal levels. Much, much more important to the future of the country that they get it right, ensuring their ducks are in a row to ward off the certain “banana republic” arguments to come from Trumpistan regardless of the evidence, and ensure that as much of the non-Trumpie cult portion of the country as possible sees the process as legit.

That is much more important than satisfying our need for immediate gratification. I don’t think an inordinate amount of time has passed given the complexities and sensitivities involved.
