Irony of everything - protests, global focus entirely on Israel for the carnage, etc.

Why isn’t there a global uproar about attacks on a sea corridor for aid? If most of us walked in an Israeli’s shoes, we’d understand the rage informing this response to Oct 7 (even if while opposing the recklessness). Walk in the shoes of Palestinians who played no role in Oct 7, which is nearly all those already dead, wounded, or suffering deprivation of war, and it’s hard not to sympathize with protests for humanitarian reasons. But who can walk specifically in Hamas’ shoes for more than a minute without feeling the need for a thorough shower?

They wanted as much carnage in Israel as possible, and are doing everything in their power to create as much as possible in Gaza now. That’s the irony - Israel may be recklessly indifferent to innocent Palestinian life, wanting absolute comfort that Oct 7 will never happen again at any cost. But Hamas is far worse than indifferent - they want as many dead innocent Palestinians as Israel will give them.

Bombing the sea corridor designed to speed aid and alleviate Palestinian suffering is just the latest example. Seems to escape the notice of protestors though. The Bern too.
