Question for the Trump supporters on his recent policy....uh.... "shifts"
1. During Obama's last term and the campaign, he was very much set against intervention in Syria. Hell he even had Rex Tillerson say Assad's future was up to the Syrian people (i.e., we want nothing to do with it). Then, in reaction to a disturbing video of a chemical weapons attack, he intervenes in Syria and his administration talks about the impending end of Assad.
2. He repeatedly lambasted China for its currency manipulation during the campaign. He even said in an interview with the FT a week ago that China were master currency manipulators. Now he says they are not currency manipulators.
3. He labelled NATO as obsolete and questioned its continuing value in a world where terrorism is a more immediate threat. Now he says its not obsolete.
4. He campaigned on locking up Hillary. Right after election night, he said he would not lock her up.
5. He repeatedly called for eliminating the Export-Import Bank. Now he said he won't.
6. He repeatedly said he wanted to oust Janet Yellen; now he says he won't.
Some might go the way of Louis CK and say Trump is a lying sack of shit. But what do Trump supporters think about this?
