The first step for all junkies is admitting that a problem exists.


It is encouraging to hear that there is some agreement that there was an unprecedented attempt by our enemies to meddle in our elections in various ways.

One of the bedrock foundations of our democracy is our belief that our election process is an expression of the will of the people. The Russian attempt at subversion had the purpose of destroying that faith in the sanctity of that process. A byproduct of that was to sow political discord in an already divisive environment.

Their first objective has served to shake our faith in the process and clearly their second objective has been achieved.
