Matthew Dowd is the poster child for why I hate

I rarely watch cable news because it has become tabloid news over the past decade and even worse over the past two years. Most of my news is captured through the local news stations in Raleigh-Durham and through sites like Reddit these days because I like to see what's trending.

As I prepare for work in the mornings, or sip on a cup of joe as the house wakes up on a lazy Saturday or Sunday morning, the national news creeps in. Since we watch ABC, that usually means I get GMA.

My political views fall on both sides of the table, probably best being described as a libertarian for the past decade. That's not the point though.Matthew Dowd is one of the most toxic, snarky, blatantly biased people I've ever seen on free news. If this is the way it's going to beor the way we are trending, I personally hope free news dies. Gone are the days of Tim Russert, where you had great debates, from both sides of the table, and a respect for what "news" is really suppose to be about.

I personally think respectable news died with him.
