This boils down to two points. HRC created a significant security vulnerabi

vulnerability, and she was more interested in protecting herself than she was in doing what was best for the country. (As noted before, very similar to Trump's handling of Russian interference).

Neither of those points are affected by the ultimate outcome because they are about risk, and character.

You've repeatedly side stepped the question of how HRC responded when the story broke. She didn't take steps to preserve everything for a full forensic investigation. To the contrary, her immediate inclination was to dissemble publicly while her staff used professional data deletion software rendering many thousands of emails unrecoverable / logs impossible to piece together.

That is the most blameworthy aspect of this.

The initial security vulnerability can be excused to a certain extent. Unbelievably poor judgment, but humans make mistakes. The self centered response retarding a corrective investigation cannot be justified.

------------------------

What was on the server is a corollary, but has no bearing on the question of fault outlined above, however, it is important concerning the harmful impact from the setup. It's possible that agencies over-classified information. But they found more than a handful. There were thousands retroactively classified, over a hundred classified at the time they were sent, 50+ secret, and 20+ top secret. Those included correspondence with the President himself. Your note that they didn't all originate from HRC is irrelevant. The issue is that she created the vulnerability, where mail sent to her would be put in an exposed position. I trust my bank. If I send personal information, and they had nonexistent security leading to bad actors getting ahold of it who is at fault? Me for sending sensitive information, or the bank for not having security in place?

Am I understanding you correctly in that you do agree it's far more likely than not that foreign governments had access to her server? You just don't think there was anything of importance?
