If Democrats can appear to be moderate in opposition of a party that continues to appear extreme, they will continue to gain ground. If they go bonkers and try to push through things only the far left are asking for, they’ll face a rebuke in the next go-around. All they’ve done is square things up in the HOD. It’s not like they have a super majority. It looks like some GOP incumbents won by the skin of their teeth. The Dems can win those seats in two years if they don’t get drunk with power now.
