Just my opinion but I think you are misjudging the politics.
I think the accusations against Moore are far more egregious, but he continues to deny them, and Franken has admitted his (in most corners of life there may be a benefit to admitting your wrongdoing, but not in politics), and we are talking about a repub senate. I think they will paint with a much broader brush than you'd like to see.
If (when) Moore wins, when dems make noises about the repub senate not moving to expel him as they said they would, they will have to be willing to lump in Franken for the same consideration.
And if that does not happen, people will begin to show concern that this whole catharsis has been no different than some of the others in our recent past, and the institutional tolerance for such abuse remains intact.
