Excellent point. I was speaking with a top negotiator a few months back
(a former senior law partner and business exec who negotiated with major unions). He leans right but observed Trump has just one negotiating style, largely centered on bullying and intimidation, and that it's a big weakness. He said he and other top negotiators he's worked with employ 10 or more different styles, depending on what the situation and the personalities call for.
This is just one more area where Trump is a cheap replica of the real thing.
