Really interesting post by Nate Silver on Alabama and polling

in general. There is at least one idiot on this board who doesn't understand how polling works or that Silver himself and 538 aren't actually pollsters. They just aggregate the work of others.

Anyway, I thought some of you might be interested. Live caller polling indicates that Doug Jones is going to win. A Fox News poll released today had him up 10(!). Automated robocall polls have Moore leading. Silver does a good job explaining what both involve and what the results might mean.
