It's a strange line of reasoning

"He refused to go to a brothel in Vietnam, so he must be a fine moral man in all respects" (not an actual direct quote)

Which well ok. But.

I dunno. Is this supposed to appeal to the simple thinking crowd who figures "once a sinner, always a sinner" and conflates all sins as the same thing? These are the same people who confuse homosexuals with pedophiles and basically live their entire life as one giant slippery slope.

Also, it entirely ignores the very old fashioned line of thought that says it's totally fine for older men and younger women to be a thing. The whole "I wouldn't date a girl unless I got her mom's permission" thing that Moore has already trotted out, because he's such a damn dinosaur he thought that would be enough. Which. I suppose those people are still around and would still be voting for Roy anyway because that's just the kind of world they live in. MAGA.
