C'mon - think about this one
I think Moore is an awful candidate and cannot imagine any scenario where I would vote for him.
However, the story is that you have a young West Point grad (who chose that path during wartime) who goes with others in his troop while in Vietnam to a club and upon seeing that it is an underage brothel, says he is leaving even if not everybody follows. Assuming that is an accurate story, the moral of this story is that he is an idiot and likely scumbag because otherwise - how does he end up at that "club" in the first place? Are you kidding me? This would be the take if the story was about any other soldier in Vietnam other than Roy Moore?
The media is bad enough. Please don't lower the bar on your own ability to think critically. The way this story is written is a good example of why our divisions get deeper by the day in this country. I am willing to bet that the vast majority think very negatively of Moore at this point. However, the media taking a story with these facts and spinning it this way -- it is one of the few things I think think can be done to actually create some sense of sympathy (i.e. votes) for Moore and redirect a "greater" anger at the media.
