Oh great more bigotry to be dispelled :-) Many people that meet me actually
comment on how surprisingly even keeled and calm I can be. Believe it or not, I'm not one to take the extremes and try to look at the "devil's advocate" position to keep things in perspective. Oh I'm opinionated, don't mind giving my opinion, and can no doubt come off as an obnoxious asshole to those that don't agree with my opinion I'm sure. But if "passion" is meant to equate to loud, over reaction, etc. that's definitely not me. Although I do admit when I visit family in the homeland a strange force takes over causing my voice to get louder and my hands to suddenly be incorporated into my speaking.
And btw I wasn't being "sensitive" because it was Italians possibly being called to the mat. I was mostly just trying to figure out exactly what you meant. And pointing out how that could be viewed as bigoted (a lazy IMO, quick and all too convenient go-to these days for the left, if not you personally, yet something they seem to think is OK as long as it's on the "correct" side as they view it.). For all I care, I wouldn't even get "sensitive" if you suggested I don't know how to button a shirt above my stomach, have involvement in the olive oil import business, or don't realize O's and A's at the end of a word should never be silent. Because I know what the truth is, so I don't really give a chit what someone suggests or assumes about me. And I certainly didn't get "sensitive" about your post, nor even RQ's post calling my peeps "lazy". I just hate to pass up such a golden opportunity to bust his chops, or yours. :-)
