I was saying that Citizens United (at least Kennedy's opinion) assumed a robust disclosure system and that such a system was sufficient. Here is Kennedy on the issue: "The First Amendment protects political speech; and disclosure permits citizens and shareholders to react to the speech of corporate entities in a proper way. This transparency enables the electorate to make informed decisions and give proper weight to different speakers and messages." Stevens' dissent made the opposite assumption about the efficiency of the disclosure system but he lost. I think Stevens was right and Kennedy was wrong on this issue and we are dealing with the consequences right now.

And the whole globalist thing was me being sarcastic. It was aimed at Trump supporters who rage against the "globalists" but probably will not object to the fact that Russia spent money to influence our election.
