Word has it there currently a classified memo or report detailing current corruption within the FBI that R's are trying to get released. We'll see.

What I mean by checks and balances is not in the legal sense but in the court of public opinion. No agency and no person is above criticism. Democracy simply does not dictate that Trump keep his mouth shut about the fbi (Politically smart or not is another issue). If you think it does file a law suit.
