I'd like to know her answer as to why Jesus hasn't ended the flu altogether

Worldwide, roughly 15,000 children under the age of 5 die every day from a variety of ailments - things like pneumonia, diarrhea, and malaria. I'd have a hard time reconciling this with common assertions made about various deities (specifically, all-knowing, all-powerful, and deserved of worship).
