Who thinks it’s a good idea to allow an 18 year old to buy an AR-15? It
Seems like the NRA people I know, don think it makes sense so how is this the law? It is not logical. We won’t trust a person to drink a beer but we’ll trust them to buy an AR-15? WTF?
I’m for hunting or even hand guns but not semi-automatics. Semi-automatics that hold large cartridges of bullets should be illegal.
Anyone under the age of 25 should not be able to buy a gun. Period.
It should be illegal for anyone under the age of 25 to be in possession of any kind of weapon unless they are with someone over 25. I’m not a big hunter although I don’t have a problem with hunting. Is it unreasonable to say two 12-24 year olds should not be able to go hunting by themselves? Maybe exceptions could be made if they are on their own land or on hunting club property.
It is mind boggling that some better laws can not be made. The NRA can’t claim their old fall back that we need to enforce the laws we have if an 18 year old can buy an AR-15. Somethings need to change. That doesn’t mean all guns should be illegal.
