What is clear is that the far right wing is willing to give its loving

attention to Donald Trump. Of course, he laps it up, and he is therefore casting his full lot with this adoring base, hoping their energy (which controls most of conservative media) will be enough to keep Congress and get him re-elected.

I don't think it's a big enough group to do that, but clearly, this is Trump's base. He is their leader who carries their agenda. We'll see if it is a gamble that pays off in November and beyond even while we see middle American turning against the powerful NRA.
