If first degree murder was the only option they presented to the jury, I

could understand the verdict. She obviously killed the man, but was it willful and premeditated? Doesn't appear to be so. I don't understand why manslaughter charges weren't an option. I don't buy the self-defense argument when the guy was shot in the back while trying to climb out a window.
