As for the rest, it just sounds to me like an attack on the integrity of a massive group of young people because they disagree with you. I disagree with your characterization of people who showed up all over the country to protest yesterday. Completely. I don't see sheep at all. I see crotchety old people doing everything they can to impugn the integrity of deeply passionate young people, whose passion suggests a sea change away from the status quo on guns.
All the older people who just kneejerked to the old "thoughts and prayers" and "it's too soon to talk about the political issue" after tragedies, pretty much just following their NRA shepherds (until these tired old statements became objects of ridicule) are the sheep in this discussion IMO. The kids marching yesterday were the opposite. They're the ones pushing back against the status quo, which is not normally thought of as sheep-like behavior.
But it is a nice easy way to attack them, when it looks like the tide of the future may be moving against the tired old assumptions about American gun culture.
