Remember how much crap Obama took for telling people he thought that maybe talking to our supposed enemies (at the time he meant Iran, NK, etc -- the "axis of evil" countries) might do more to advance peace than military threats or sanctions. And now the Trumpists apparently see some wisdom in that.

Politics blows. It really is about telling people that whatever your guy did is right and what the other side's guy did was wrong, even if it is 100% the same thing.
