Probably because he's already getting so much air time, that and he's not

a politician in the elected sense, so he doesn't have to worry about backlash from constituents. He's a pretty good showman, too. So in terms of effect, I can't think of a better candidate. Also, based on what he's said about him getting many calls offering information, he seems to be the "chosen one".
