There is a lot more vertical utilization of ground spac in NY than LA or SF

Out of the 40 tallest buildings in the US, 15 are in NYC. One is in LA and one in SF. I suspect this has a bearing on availability of both luxury apartments and commercial real estate. From a technical perspective, NYC is quite stable compared to earthquake prone LA and SF.
