You think it's appropriate that high income earners in places like CA/NY

pay what they do?

If I make $3MM in NYC (see link below) I'm paying over half that in various income taxes alone. That's not even including property tax (which is probably high since I probably have an expensive place--might even have a place in the Hamptons at $3MM so that's x2), sales tax on everything I buy (again probably a high # since I prob buy a lot of shit) and any other taxes that I contribute if I'm in business. I think that's outrageously high.
