Despite some of the misogynistic posts below, not sure I
see this going anywhere. if anything, it could come back to bite the Ds in the coming months.
the nominee is qualified for the job and will, in all likelihood, be confirmed when this goes to vote. a clear opportunity for a little grandstanding from the opposition, but may be better to move on before too long and focus on the mid-term elections.
The Ds lost the election (maybe even fair and square). This is what happens. Unless, of course, the Donald is directly implicated in some wrongdoing and becomes the subject of an active investigation. In that case, I would think the confirmation hearings should stop until there is some resolution. I just don't see that happening.
