I don't actually fundamentally disagree with you here, but as usual it's

the typical over-the-top hyperbole, and dishonesty in this case, from the "get Trump" crowd about no POTUS ever making money while in office, and in that case RQ's rushing to defend (or suffering from Hooda Derangement Syndrome) that absurd post while ignoring all logic. All while ignoring the part in the article about Trump Co. paying the Treasury back for profits, and their own countless dismissals of any concerns over the Saudis many millions donated to the Clinton Foundation. All for $270K. In revenue, not even profits. It wasn't I that spun the topic from emoluments to no POTUS ever making money while in office, nor that ignored the basic absurdity of such a claim.

I'm not at all suggesting the story isn't worth investigating, nor dismissing valid concerns about emolument issues. I just didn't think there was much there to that particular there.
